Ptarmigan training programme

Ptarmigan is committed to providing every member of its team – from admin personnel through to the Board – with an individually tailored personal development programme to ensure continued professional development.

The Ptarmigan Flight Path Manual, which is given to every member of staff as part of their induction, helps record training, development and appraisals.  

Training is delivered by a mix of external trainers and in-house mentors covering everything from creativity and copywriting to coaching and presentation skills. ‘Show & Tell’ sessions are held regularly at lunchtimes, in which an account team tells everyone else what they’ve been up to on behalf of a client, sharing best practice.

As a PRCA member, a team of Frontliners at Ptarmigan, organise training sessions in media skills for our staff as well as colleagues in other PRCA member agencies in the North East. Frontline is for account manager level and below.

Senior staff take part in Neuro Linguistic Programming sessions and there are meditation sessions, run by a Board Director, open to all staff each week.
