Yorkshire Bank - Grand Theatre Reopening

To mark the re-opening of Leeds Grand Theatre after a £30 million refurbishment.

Organise an event on behalf of Yorkshire Bank to celebrate the theatre's largest coporate sponsor.

 

Tactics

300 guests were invited to a champagne reception to mark the official re-opening, see the first show in the refurbished theatre, sit in the newly named Yorkshire Bank Auditorium and attend a spectacular celebration dinner.

Special booklet invites, included a custom made pop-up of the new look Yorkshire Bank Auditorium.

Ptarmigan wrote keynote speeches for Yorkshire
Bank personnel.

Characters from well known shows and musicals greeted guests at the celebration dinner.

Display panels detailed the history of Leeds, Leeds Grand Theatre and Yorkshire Bank from 1858 through to the present day.
Entertainment provided by operatic waiters, string quartet and Opera North performers.
  Results
300 people including Lords, Ladies, Dames, local business leaders, councillors, MPs, local media and employees attended the performance of Rigoletto and the
celebration dinner.

Widespread media coverage for the theatre re-opening, celebration dinner and Yorkshire Bank's investment in
the city of Leeds.
