Pampero Graffiti Jam
Objectives
Raise awareness and drive trial of Venezuelan rum, Pampero, amongst the Leeds independent art and bar scenes.
As part of an overall campaign focusing on word of mouth, a free graffiti jam with a Caracas theme was organised in Leeds, showcasing the skills of 25 local artists. The event enabled Pampero to support emerging artists in the area at a grassroots level, whilst linking the product back to its Venezuelan heritage.
Working closely with some of the city’s key influencers, the event was promoted via MySpace, a newly established website, www.rumbacaracas.co.uk, along with 200 city centre fly posting sites. Held in a series of disused dark arches, to add to the event’s gritty, edgy feel, a 300ft temporary wall was constructed for the day and a DJ playing Reggaton tunes was hired to bring to life the South American vibe. |

For Nestle product promotions we’ve organised everything from shopping
centre road shows featuring hula-hooping mice to nationwide tours
by a giant motorised Quality Street tin.
We love
sport, and kicked off Hyundai’s Euro
2004 sponsorship campaign with Frank Lampard at a packed press conference
at Chelsea Village, before commencing a Goodwill Tour around the UK, then
heading off to Spain and Portugal to entertain fans and journalists en route,
(a campaign that won both a Hollis and IPR PRide Award). |

We get
down to business too, having created a two-day management
conference, hosted by Clive Anderson, for 400 Yorkshire
Water delegates. And we held the launch of the UK’s
biggest offshore wind-farm at the Science Museum in London, with
a video link to the switch-on in Wales and the PM speaking from
Number 10. |
| We’ve
used events to preach the government’s recycled compost message
to thousands of gardeners – and even caught Charles and Camilla
- as we toured the country in a flower power open-top bus and held
clinics with celebrity gardeners. |
| And
when the Women’s Euro 2005
tournament came to the UK, our brief from UEFA and the FA was ‘bums
on seats’. A co-ordinated series of 22 events to promote the
games resulted in the highest ever attendances for women’s
football matches in Europe. |
